Make a big baseball from a Styrofoam ball that you paper mache with white tissue paper. Get excited for the first pitch of the season with a baseball pencil holder presented on your desk.

Make this baseball craft for Dad for father's day too. Just Add Number 1 Dad or even a picture of you and Dad on the front of the ball. If you have stickers of your favorite base mascot add them to the front the baseball you make too.

This baseball pencil holder will be a perfect addition to any desk. Even put your baseball pencils into it. Add stickers from your favorite baseball team to personlize the crafty pencil holder.



Instructions To Make A Baseball Pencil Holder :
1. Carve a piece of the bottom off of the styrofoam ball to make it flat and flush with the table.
2. Make paste - mix glue and water - 60/40 in a cup
3. Cut white tissue paper into small strips.
4. Using a paint brush, lather the styrofoam ball with paste. Add pieces of white tissue paper. Do in parts and until you completely paper mache the styrofoam ball.
5. Do two layers of paper mache, especially if your styrofoam ball is green.
6. Use paintbrush and glue to paste over where pieces of tissue paper are not laying properly.
7. Make the seams or laces for your baseball pencil holder with red glitter glue.
8. Poke holes with sharpened penciles into your newly made baseball.
9. Decorate your baseball with a Happy Fathers Day message or even stickers of your favorite baseball mascot.
